Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hospitality Associate to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton Oahu Turtle Bay. As a key member of our food and beverage service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional and courteous service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Clean and set up tables in the outlet, performing general cleaning and setup duties as needed.
  • Serve water, bread, and coffee, greeting guests by name whenever possible during meal service.
  • Stack trays properly for efficient unloading and ensure proper safety standards at all times.
  • Complete closing duties, including storing reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning equipment, and areas, and completing daily cleaning checklists.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas, ensuring they are clean and organized.
  • Inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver prior to use.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures and adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No related work experience necessary.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • No license or certification required.
Working Conditions

This role requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, as well as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. The ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, is also necessary.
