Experienced Physician Wanted for Vibrant Indianapolis Opportunity

Department of Veteran Affairs is actively seeking a full-time physician to join their team in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Key highlights of this position include:
- A manageable caseload of approximately 12 patients per day in an outpatient setting
- The opportunity for some virtual appointments to accommodate diverse patient needs
- No call requirement, allowing for a healthy work-life balance
- A standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

- Access to Clinical Pharmacists and Clinical Psychologists for collaborative care

- A location in vibrant and affordable Indianapolis, Indiana
- Eligibility for the Education Debt Reduction Program (up to $200K over a 5-year period)
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- A current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia
The Department of Veteran Affairs offers a comprehensive total rewards package:
Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50–55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)
Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA
Insurance: Federal health/vision/dental/term life (many federal insurance programs can be carried into retirement)
CME: Possible $1,000 per year reimbursement (must be full-time with board certification)
