Conveyor Belt Technician Job Description

At Ammeraal Beltech, we are seeking a skilled Conveyor Belt Technician to join our MIR and AMMEGA Production team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of conveyor belts and related industrial products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process orders in a safe and efficient manner, operating light industrial equipment.
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding assigned orders, scheduling, and production issues.
  • Ensure timely shipping of belting products, receiving shipments, and delivering to the correct recipient.
  • Maintain the shipping/receiving department with necessary supplies.
  • Process and maintain reports.
  • Travel to various locations for product installation, with occasional overnight travel required.
  • Provide on-call assistance as needed.
  • Recognize inventory usage and report low levels to supervisors, maintaining cycle counts and participating in annual inventory.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Flexibility around scheduling, with ability to work occasional nights and/or weekend coverage.
  • Previous industrial or production experience.
  • Strong fundamental math skills.
  • Ability to regularly lift heavy materials (75+ pounds on average).
  • Ability to regularly bend, stoop, rotate arms and upper body, frequently push, pull, sit, stand, and reach, with some climbing required.
  • Leadership acumen.
