We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Float Pool team, providing high-quality patient care in various medical specialties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients, staff, and physicians in maintaining efficient operations and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Provide quality care to a designated patient population, utilizing clinical knowledge and skills.
- Administer medications safely and accurately, ensuring proper documentation and verification.
- Prepare patients for examinations or procedures, obtaining informed consent and labeling biopsies accurately.
- Document patient care events thoroughly and accurately, managing electronic health records (EHR) tasks.
- Participate in clinical projects, collaborating with physicians and managers to improve department efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification.
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals certification.
- IV Certification (NPTA Sterile Product Certification) and ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) are preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of LVN experience in a related clinical area.
- Ambulatory care experience.
