Job Summary:

As a Cardiologist, you will diagnose and treat patients with heart-related conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and other cardiovascular disorders. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive the best possible care while utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and treatment protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations
  • Prescribe and manage treatments for patients with cardiovascular conditions
  • Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, and other specialists to coordinate care
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Educate patients and families on managing heart conditions, medications, and lifestyle changes
  • Stay updated on new medical research and technology in the cardiology field
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure emergency cardiac care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
  • Completed residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiology
  • Board Certification or Board Eligible
  • Active state medical license (or able to obtain)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
