Job Overview:

The Vice President, IIS – Market Data is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive market data strategy that aligns with LPL's business objectives. This role will lead the creation of a vision, roadmap, and product backlog for our Market Data platforms, ensuring the delivery of a world-class client experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market data landscape, including industry trends and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize market and growth opportunities for LPL's solutions.
  • Lead the planning and execution of product release plans, ensuring timely delivery of new functionalities.
  • Provide thought leadership on market data-related subjects, including regulatory matters and industry trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Marketing, Sales, Transition Partners, Finance, and Compliance.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in market data, with a strong understanding of industry trends and regulatory requirements.
  • 3+ years of experience in agile environments, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Core Competencies:
  • Articulate, confident, and driven professional with experience in implementing market data strategies.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to evaluate business opportunities and make informed tradeoffs.
  • Expert communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to present materials to senior leadership.
