Behavioral Health Care Specialist

About the Role:
RHA Health Services is seeking a qualified professional to provide support to individuals with mental health and/or substance use needs in home, school, workplace, and community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct sessions in home settings with youth, family members, and other supports.
- Provide support to individuals with mental health and/or substance use issues in home, school, workplace, and community settings.
- Facilitate relationships and serve as a link between the individuals served, the company, family, guardians, local agencies, and the community.
- Support the client in the development of various skill-building activities, including daily and community living skills, socialization skills, adaptation skills, and behavior and anger management.
- Work closely with other clinical/professional staff to maintain communication and provide feedback, standardizing procedures, and expediting service implementation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field and 2+ years of full-time experience with the population served.
- Bachelor's degree (not in a Human Services field) and 4+ years of full-time experience with the population served.
- Master's degree or higher and 1+ year of full-time experience with the population served.
- License, provisional license, certificate, registration, or permit issued by a governing board regulating a human service profession.
- Background checks, including OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities.
