We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Operations Manager to join our team at AdventHealth Orlando. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the campus pharmacy, ensuring the success of our clinical, financial, and operational functions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the operations and programs of assigned pharmacy areas, including staffing, hiring/terminations, evaluations, and coaching for pharmacy techs and pharmacists.
- Schedule pharmacy employees to meet productivity targets and department objectives.
- Act as liaison to campus leadership to resolve medication-related issues and execute campus strategies.
- Effectively communicate with campus leaders and medical staff to promote cooperation and efficiency in providing patient pharmacy care needs.
- Ensure department compliance with state, federal, and other regulatory body requirements.
- Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (PharmD)
- PGY-1 pharmacy resident or equivalent experience
- One (1) year of pharmacy leadership experience
- Three (3) years of pharmaceutical experience
- State of Florida licensure of Pharmacist
- Masters of Health Administration, Pharmacy, Pharmacy Administration, Business Administration, or other advanced degree in pharmacy or healthcare leadership
- PGY2 Specialty Residency or Fellowship or equivalent experience
- Five (5) years of pharmacy practice experience in a large hospital (greater than 500 bed institution) and integrated healthcare system (three or more hospitals in system)
- Board certification from the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BCPS)
- Florida Consultant Pharmacist license
