About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Tech to join our team at Peachford Hospital. As a Mental Health Tech, you will play a vital role in providing coordinated patient care to individuals with mental health, psychiatric, and addictive disease diagnoses.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized patient care to patients with mental health, psychiatric, and addictive disease diagnoses.
  • Assist patients through the continuum of care, utilizing knowledge of behavioral health issues.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, social work, or related field.
  • Previous experience providing care in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric or addictive disease setting.
  • Interest in psychiatric, mental health, and/or behavioral health.
  • Passion for providing patient care in a team environment.
