Position Overview

Maine Medical Center - Portland is seeking proficient MRI technologists with a strong background in Level 1 trauma care. This role involves working with advanced Philips MRI systems across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Certification Requirements: ARRT (MR), AMRIT
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in MRI technology, with prior travel experience preferred.
  • Shift Details: Scheduled for 3 shifts of 12 hours each on weekends and evenings, with no overnight or on-call duties.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in Neuro, Body, and MSK imaging is essential. Proficiency in IV placement is required, and familiarity with EPIC is advantageous.
Unit Information
  • Patient Care: Maintain a patient ratio of 1:1, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Equipment: Utilize Philips MR 1.5T and Philips MR 3T systems, including Ingenia and Ambition models.
  • Environment: Work with both inpatients and outpatients across multiple facilities.
