Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at Macpower Digital Assets Edge; MDA Edge. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate payment of our payrolls, including multi-company, multi-state, and multiple pay cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute proper control, payment, and reporting of special payrolls, including executive, manager, and supervisor bonuses.
  • Responsible for payments to US citizens working for our client outside of the US (expatriates).
  • Maintain controls and audits to ensure that payrolls are calculated properly and that we are in compliance with wage and hour laws.
  • Assist with year-end processing to ensure that tax forms are issued timely and accurately.
  • Make recommendations for process and system improvements.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in payroll or related payroll/human resource experience is also preferred.
  • Experience with Kronos and Workday is a plus.
  • Ability to work in an onsite setting.
  • Four-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred.
