Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our telecommunications network, ensuring high availability and performance. This is a technical position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and other network devices.
- Monitor and analyze network performance, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design, build, and test new network configurations and upgrades.
- Provide technical support to customers and internal teams, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and maintain documentation for network procedures and technical processes.
- 4+ years of experience in a network operations center or similar environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
- Good understanding of network management systems and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Knowledge of submarine network and DWDM technologies, including Alcatel, Infinera, Juniper, ADVA, Tyco, Xtera, Fujitsu, and Ciena.
- Experience with network management systems, including NMS and EMS.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
