Residential Care Specialist

Protecting the well-being of children in foster care is a crucial responsibility. As a Residential Care Specialist, you will provide 24/7 care and support to children under the age of 18 who have been victims of abuse or neglect. Your primary role will be to ensure their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met. You must work closely with other team members to create a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care to each child, including cooking, cleaning, and participating in activities
- Maintain confidentiality at all times, adhering to strict protocols
- Communicate effectively with team members, families, and other stakeholders
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- A valid Oregon driver's license and insurable through the tribal organization
- Prior experience working with vulnerable populations preferred
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer an excellent salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 annually, depending on experience. Comprehensive benefits include medical insurance with low out-of-pocket costs, vision and dental coverage, flexible spending plans for daycare and medical expenses, and supplemental insurance options. We also offer a 401(k) or ROTH retirement plan with up to 5% employer matching after one year of employment.
