Orthopedic Nurse Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patient needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of hire and/or compact licensure.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
