Job Summary

The Optical Sales Professional is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and sales results in a fast-paced retail environment. This role requires a strong passion for eye care and a commitment to providing personalized service to each customer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets through effective sales techniques and customer engagement.
  • Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings, ensuring customers receive the best possible solution for their vision needs.
  • Assist customers in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to ensure a perfect fit.
  • Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Optician as needed.
  • Participate in maintaining a positive store environment, fostering strong relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
  • Take pride in the appearance of the store and demonstrate initiative in keeping displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic phone and math skills.
  • Ability to sell through effective sales skills and accountability for sales results, with a desire to meet goals.
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Self-motivator with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.
