Mission:
In this capacity, you will support the United States Army in ensuring that their infrastructure and networks are scalable, accessible, flexible, and defensible, in alignment with the Army's Network Modernization Strategy and Army Unified Network Plan (AUNP).

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Program Scheduler, you will be accountable for:

  • Developing and maintaining a resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) that serves as the foundation for the Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
  • Facilitating meetings and collaborating with team members to identify project activities, resources, requirements, and milestones.
  • Constructing and updating the MS Project plan on a daily basis, generating reports, and providing various views for stakeholders.
  • Implementing scheduling best practices in compliance with EVM standards and the Planning and Scheduling Excellence Guide (PASEG).
  • Monitoring and analyzing performance against baseline schedules to ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to generate and maintain an accurate Master Schedule that reflects customer requirements and milestones.
  • Documenting and tracking internal and external dependencies for effective risk management.
  • Identifying critical paths, major milestones, and decision points throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Establishing and maintaining baseline schedules, tracking changes weekly, and performing 'what if' scenarios.
  • Championing continuous risk mitigation and issue management through thorough schedule analysis.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree along with 8-12 years of project analysis experience, specifically in Earned Value Management (EVM) and Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project.
  • Strong understanding of scheduling theory and best practices.
  • Proven experience in managing a resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and providing insights for the Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
  • The ability to work independently while maintaining overall responsibility for the Master Schedule.
  • US citizenship and the ability to obtain security clearance as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Additional qualifications that would be advantageous include:

  • Experience with Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) initiatives.
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Scheduling Professional (SP) certification.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Project Web App (PWA), Deltek Cobra, and advanced Excel skills including Power BI.
