Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team in Minneapolis. As a key member of our pre-construction phase, you will analyze project specifications, blueprints, and documentation to prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings, bid strategy, and marketing presentations as requested.
  • Prepare estimates by calculating complete takeoff of certain sections and reviewing vendor quotations.
  • Interface with Owner, A/E and/or subcontractors to provide accurate cost estimates.
  • Prepare conceptual estimates as needed by our clients.
  • Participate in plan review and estimating reviews for prospective projects.
Requirements
  • BA/BS degree in construction management, engineering, or 5+ years of experience in estimating or project management.
  • Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
  • Ground up project knowledge and experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Sage, MS Project.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Base salary ranging from $120,000 - $140,000 depending on experience.
