As an Evening Custodial Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment at Thorne Research. Your responsibilities will include performing essential cleaning tasks that ensure our facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily cleaning and maintenance activities, including sweeping, dusting, mopping, and trash disposal.
  • Execute specialized floor care duties such as waxing, burnishing, and carpet cleaning with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
  • Utilize ladders safely and effectively as needed.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring thorough and consistent cleaning throughout the facility.
  • Manage the receiving and stocking of supplies, including production materials and cleaning agents.
  • Care for and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, performing routine maintenance as necessary.
  • Report any damage or potential issues with equipment or the facility promptly.
  • Keep work areas organized and ensure tools and equipment are stored properly after use.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding project status and seek assistance when needed.
  • Adhere to scheduled work hours and demonstrate punctuality in attendance.
  • Show initiative by proposing improvements and innovative solutions to enhance cleaning processes.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations and understand measurements relevant to the production environment.
