Job Summary:

As a Medical Facility Cook at Indiana University Health, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving high-quality food to our patients, retail customers, and catering clients. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Food Preparation Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook regular and therapeutic diets for patients and retail customers.
  • Assemble food items according to production sheets under the direction of the Chef, Lead, Manager, or Supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and safe food preparation environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure high-quality food service.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 1-3 years of food preparation experience.
  • ISDOH approved certification of Food Handler under Title 410 IAC 7-22 may be required at some facilities.
