We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Sharp Nursing Medical Staffing. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray units
- Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, including adjusting equipment settings and using image processing software
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams and imaging results
Requirements:
- Current Wisconsin license as a Radiologic Technologist
- At least 5 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, with a focus on CT scanning
- Strong knowledge of imaging equipment and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
