Position Overview

The Harry & Rose Samson Family JCC is seeking dedicated and compassionate educators from diverse backgrounds to become part of our team as a part-time Preschool Educator at our Early Childhood Education campus. This role involves working with children from infancy through PreK.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 2pm - 6pm.

Role Responsibilities

As a valued member of our educational team, you will be instrumental in fostering a nurturing, individualized, and engaging environment for children that promotes exploration and creative thinking. Our educators ensure that each child is treated with respect, dignity, and kindness. Additionally, you will play a key role in advancing the JCC's mission through program development, adherence to licensing regulations, and the effective implementation of our educational philosophy.

Essential Qualifications

  • A genuine passion for working with children and their families
  • Flexibility and a collaborative spirit within a learning community
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR certifications (training provided for hired staff)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in an Early Childhood Education setting or related experience such as nannying, camp counseling, or babysitting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in a classroom or educational environment
  • Knowledge of various methodologies in Early Childhood Education and child development

Gan Ami Early Childhood Education serves families with children aged 6 weeks to K4 across two locations. Recognized as a Youngstar 5-star provider by the State of Wisconsin, Gan Ami has also achieved national accreditation from the Association for Early Learning Leaders' National Accreditation Commission (NAC).

Gan Ami operates under the auspices of the Harry & Rose Samson Family JCC, a non-profit organization founded on Jewish values, dedicated to addressing the evolving needs of the community.
