Job Title: Lead Teacher

Join The Learning Experience team as a Lead Teacher and be part of a dynamic and supportive environment that fosters growth and development for children, families, and educators alike.

About the Role:

As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating and welcoming space for children to learn and grow. You will plan, prepare, and collaborate with colleagues to implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, adapting your approach to meet the individual needs of Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Classroom Leadership: Plan and prepare engaging activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Masterfully bring the L.E.A.P. Curriculum to life, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Safety First: Prioritize a safe and healthy environment, ensuring children's physical and emotional well-being.
  • Family Communication: Regularly update parents on their child's progress and milestones, leveraging mobile apps and in-person discussions.
  • Center Collaboration: Work collaboratively with center staff and leadership to drive retention, enrollment, and engagement goals.
  • Relationship Builder: Cultivate strong relationships with families and colleagues, fostering an environment where learning and play coexist effortlessly.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Meet state-specific guidelines for the role, with a High School Diploma or GED required and ECE coursework preferred.
  • Experience: Extended experience in a childcare setting, with a history of classroom leadership roles and a deep-rooted passion for early childhood education.
  • State Compliance: Meet state-specific guidelines for the role, including performance level, immunizations, employment physicals, and required health and safety training.
