**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Radiology Technologist to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a radiology technologist, you will have the opportunity to work in various settings, including nursing homes and private residences, performing portable x-ray and diagnostic imaging procedures to support disease diagnosis.

**Job Summary:**

In this role, you will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate records while traveling to diverse locations. You will perform high-quality portable x-rays, EKGs, and other applicable diagnostic imaging services for patients in various service locations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform portable x-ray and diagnostic imaging procedures in a variety of settings and locations around the United States.
  • Operate x-ray equipment to take radiographic images of patients' bones, tissues, and organs as per physicians' orders.
  • Demonstrate competence in the performance of portable x-ray studies based on established protocols and procedures.
  • Explain x-ray procedures to patients and answer their questions.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed x-ray procedures.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • Meets all state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays, including registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist RT (R).
  • Limited Scope X-ray Operator license or state x-ray license (if applicable).
  • Passes required background check(s).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possesses proficient computer skills to perform required duties.
  • Acts professionally and exhibits a friendly, caring, and positive attitude when interacting with management, employees, patients, and other stakeholders.

**Benefits and Perks:**

  • Estimated salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Compensation for actual travel time to a different market/area up to a maximum of 8 hours per day.
  • Per diem allowance for expenses such as meals and other incidental costs during travel.
