  • Install new equipment as needed, managing maintenance activities and troubleshooting refrigeration systems.
  • Enhance the overall functionality and safety of our manufacturing environment.
  • Manage and maintain a thorough understanding of the refrigeration cycle, including compressors, ammonia pumps, and condensing towers.
  • Develop and implement electrical knowledge, including components, equipment usage, and specialized equipment.
  • Apply welding and cutting skills, adhering to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct quality checks and documentation within the quality system.
  • Identify and report hazards immediately.
  • Collaborate with regulatory standards and adhere to safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Preferably a 2-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship.
  • Over 3 years of experience in ammonia refrigeration, including work on compressors, pumps, condensing towers, and a comprehensive understanding of the cycle.
  • Background in industrial maintenance, military settings, or a technical degree.
  • Proven track record of 3-5 years in electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic fields.
