Technica LLC is seeking a qualified individual for the role of Fleet Maintenance Operations Manager. This position is essential for overseeing maintenance activities on a significant Government contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees maintenance operations for both military and civilian vehicles, ensuring all inspections, services, and repairs are conducted efficiently.
- Guarantees compliance with relevant Technical Manuals for all equipment maintenance tasks.
- Acts as the primary authority on tactical and combat equipment, assessing repair needs and determining item reparability based on established Maintenance Expenditure Limits.
- Identifies gaps in technical training and provides necessary training to inspectors and mechanics to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Validates estimated and actual costs of damage for repairs, ensuring proper classification and documentation is maintained.
- Conducts investigations into repair parts that have not arrived by their estimated shipping dates.
- Responsible for enforcing safety and environmental regulations during maintenance operations.
- Manages employee performance through counseling, reviews, and other personnel documentation.
- Reviews and approves employee time records.
- Participates in the recruitment process by screening applicants and conducting interviews for open positions.
- Ensures adherence to policies and procedures regarding physical security among all team members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Possession of a valid state driver's license is mandatory.
- Must be a US Citizen or a permanent resident for at least three years to meet eligibility requirements.
- Ability to obtain post access and maintain a Common Access Card is essential.
- At least five years of experience in managing Fleet Maintenance Operations, particularly within the Army framework.
- A minimum of two years of hands-on experience with Global Combat Support System-Army is required.
- In-depth knowledge of AESIP and Logistics Data Analysis Center applications is necessary.
- Experience with completing essential documentation such as Equipment Inspection and Maintenance Worksheets and Maintenance Requests.
- Basic proficiency in English, both oral and written, is required.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 49 lbs.
- Capability to work at heights of 10 feet or more.
- Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, and bending.
- Ability to work effectively in both team settings and independently, including in adverse weather conditions.
