Job Overview

The Turnaround Technician plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing timely and professional service for safety products and services.

This position requires strong communication and organizational skills to effectively interface with customers and manage inventory and billing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all company and client safety policies and procedures.
  • Issue safety equipment to site personnel and accurately capture transactions in mobile billing and inventory management systems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of returned equipment and segregate as necessary.
  • Properly clean and calibrate equipment to 24HR Safety quality standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Verify the functionality of gas detection equipment and two-way radios and recharge as needed.
  • Ensure all equipment is in ready-to-rent status within established timeframes.
  • Complete all documentation associated with service in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Facilitate credit card transactions for contractor personnel working onsite.
  • Meet travel and performance requirements for turnarounds.
  • Communicate any issues immediately to 24HR Safety site Project Manager and District Assistant Manager.
Requirements
  • Vocational or Associates Degree preferred. Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three plus years plant turnaround experience.
  • Previous gas detection equipment repair experience preferred.
  • Minimum 23 years of age.
  • Must have a clean driving record and pass DISA background, plant security, and drug screen.
  • Current TWIC preferred.
  • Willingness to travel and work a rotating weekend and on-call schedule.

  • Employee must be able to distinguish between colors.
  • The employee will be required to work in office and open-air workspaces. Exposure to varied temperatures: heat and cold.
Travel

This position requires 75% - 85% travel working turnaround companywide. Must be willing to work on-call and during weekends or holidays.
