Job Overview

24HR Safety, LLC. is seeking a skilled Turnaround Technician to join our team. As a key member of our turnaround team, you will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by providing timely and professional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interface with customers to understand their safety product and service needs.
  • Issue safety equipment and supplies to contractor personnel in a timely manner.
  • Accurately capture transactions in our mobile billing and inventory management system.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of returned equipment and segregate as necessary.
  • Calibrate and verify the functionality of gas detection equipment and two-way radios.
  • Ensure all equipment is in ready-to-rent status within established timeframes.
  • Complete all documentation associated with service in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Facilitate credit card transactions for contractor personnel.
  • Meet travel and performance requirements for turnarounds.
  • Communicate any issues to the 24HR Safety site Project Manager and District Assistant Manager.

Requirements

  • Vocational or Associates Degree preferred.
  • Three plus years of plant turnaround experience.
  • Previous gas detection equipment repair experience preferred.
  • Minimum 23 years of age.
  • Must have a clean driving record and pass DISA background, plant security, and drug screen checks.
  • Current TWIC preferred.
  • Willingness to travel and work a rotating weekend and on-call schedule.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include frequent sitting and standing, reaching, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Travel Requirements

This role requires 75% - 85% travel working turnarounds companywide. Must be willing to work on-call and during weekends or holidays.
