Job Overview

Carter BloodCare is seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. As a key member of our Reference and Transfusion department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of blood products.

Job Description

This full-time position involves performing multiple services associated with laboratory support and customer service. You will be responsible for participating in competency and educational opportunities, maintaining compliance with attendance policies and department schedules, and supporting Carter BloodCare's vision, mission, and core values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory duties and procedures according to established guidelines and protocols.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including data entry and documentation.
  • Participate in continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • General laboratory experience, preferably in a blood center setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workload effectively.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000, depending on experience. Carter BloodCare offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
