Cook Children's Health Care System, a leading healthcare provider in Texas, is seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Professional to join their team in Fort Worth.

About the Job

We are looking for a highly skilled Medical Lab Scientist to work in our state-of-the-art laboratory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical laboratory testing and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

As a Clinical Laboratory Professional with Cook Children's, you will be responsible for performing complex laboratory tests, analyzing results, and reporting findings to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans. You will also work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

The salary for this role is approximately $63,500 per year, depending on experience.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology/Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent biological, chemical, or physical science
  • Completion of a NAACLS-accredited program
  • Minimum six (6) months of experience performing laboratory testing in a clinical setting, including waived, moderate complexity, and high complexity tests
  • Pediatric experience preferred
  • Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent nationally recognized certifying agency required
