Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, including vital sign measurements, medication administration, and wound care.
- Assist with patient transfers, admissions, and discharges, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Participate in patient and family education, promoting a culture of open communication and empathy.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
- Contribute to a safe and clean environment by adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a high level of organization.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an approved nursing assistant program preferred.
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) a plus.
