Job Summary:

The Senior Registered Nurse Supervisor will provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff in a long-term care setting, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising nursing staff, administering medications, and monitoring patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide supervision and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facility policies.

Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans as needed.

Conduct daily rounds to assess patient needs and ensure that nursing staff are meeting regulatory requirements.

Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and nursing staff performance.

Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Current Florida Registered Nursing License.

Current CPR Card.

Supervisory experience in a long-term care setting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work weekends and holidays as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in staff development and staff education.

Experience in a long-term health care environment.
