We are seeking a skilled Construction Materials Field Technician to join our team at ECS Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting field observations, testing, and sampling of materials on construction projects.
Responsibilities- Conduct field activities, including observation, testing, and sampling of materials, under the guidance of senior technicians and project managers.
- Perform routine field and laboratory tests for soils, aggregates, and concrete using various methodologies and testing equipment.
- Collect and analyze data, including calculations and data reduction based on sampling and test results.
- Communicate effectively with site contractors, fellow technicians, and project managers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance professional skills and certifications.
- No prior experience required.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 85 pounds.
- Valid driver's license and insurance.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with contractors, peers, and supervisors.
