About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Installer to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a Fire Alarm Installer, you will be responsible for installing, programming, and servicing fire alarm systems, access control, and CCTV systems at customer locations.

Your primary focus will be on networked fire alarm systems, where you will perform installation/programming, troubleshoot, and repair as needed. You will also be required to work with customers to identify and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities
  • Install and program fire alarm systems, access control, and CCTV systems at customer locations
  • Troubleshoot and repair system issues as needed
  • Work with customers to identify and resolve issues
  • Conduct system tests to ensure installations meet industry standards and customer specifications
Requirements
  • 1-2 years documented experience in low voltage electrical systems, including fire/life safety systems, access control, CCTV, and security systems
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals
  • Ability to install conduit wire and fire alarm devices
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
