Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer I

Epsilon C5I is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in Largo, FL. As a key member of our software development and systems engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing and developing real-time sensor netting systems that enable high-quality situational awareness and integrated fire control capability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop 'shall' statements and ensure their implementation throughout the engineering process.
  • Collaborate with software and hardware teams to translate 'shall' statements into testable requirements.
  • Design and develop test plans and use cases using existing models or create new modeling tools (C++, MATLAB).
  • Develop and document technical documentation using DOORS.
  • Design system architecture and system design documentation.
  • Integrate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or industrial design.
  • At least six (6+) years' experience in a systems engineering-related role.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Knowledge of requirements tools such as MySQL or DOORS.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, telephone etiquette, and professional demeanor.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective team player with highly proficient customer service skills.
  • Advanced level user in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Flexible and able to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in an engineering discipline or industrial design.
  • Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Experience and interest working with lab equipment and software.
  • Knowledge of Radar/Sensor/Systems operations and procedures.
  • Knowledge of U.S. Navy Combat Systems.
