Job Summary

Cummings Aerospace Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing expertise in Requirements Development, Architecture/CONOPs, Data Analysis, Software/Systems Integration and Software Trouble Investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain requirements
  • Support architecture development and CONOPs
  • Design and implement new tactical capabilities
  • Update and maintain simulation tools for data analysis
  • Create presentations and reports to support contract requirements
  • Develop and maintain test procedures and documentation
  • Develop test plans, test procedures, and test cases with automation
  • Perform integration and test activities

Requirements:

  • BS degree in Computer Science or an appropriate Engineering or Scientific discipline
  • 5-12 years' experience required
  • Knowledge of Software & Systems Engineering Product Development Cycle
  • Knowledge of surface and air radar architecture – Naval Combat System Experience and/or CEC
  • Experience with modeling and simulation of embedded software
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, and modeling & simulation tools
  • Demonstrated experience with Software Integration and Test
  • Demonstrated experience with Sensor Integration and Tracking
  • Familiarity with tools: Git, ClearQuest, Jenkins, Eclipse, DOORS, Rhapsody
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, stretch, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally

Clearance:

  • Active Secret security clearance required
