Audio Technology Sales Specialist

Position Overview:

As an Audio Technology Sales Specialist, you will represent state-of-the-art audio solutions at a retail venue, creating an outstanding in-store atmosphere through interactive product demonstrations. Your responsibilities will include educating customers, driving sales, and cultivating robust relationships within the retail environment. Furthermore, you will deliver in-aisle training to empower retail staff and management, contributing to increased sales for both yourself and our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed performance metrics while striving to achieve sales targets and program goals.
  • Translate product features into sales by thoroughly understanding the advantages of our client’s offerings.
  • Enhance consumer sales through proactive engagement and product demonstrations.
  • Establish enduring partnerships with store personnel.
  • Engage and educate retail sales associates, generating enthusiasm to boost recommendation rates.
  • Collect, summarize, and report daily insights on field activities and competitive landscape using our reporting tools.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor while representing our client and BDS Connected Solutions.

Qualifications:

Experience and Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in consumer electronics and retail settings.
  • Background in sales, demonstrations, and customer interaction in retail.
  • A strong interest in audio technology.

  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and outgoing personality, comfortable in a competitive atmosphere.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong negotiation and sales skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to quickly learn new products and features.
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to achieving results.
  • Willingness to work weekends.
  • Access to a smartphone for on-site reporting.
  • Reliable transportation for transporting event materials.
