Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Cross Country Workforce Solutions Group.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled therapist to work with a frail or elderly population and make a positive impact on their lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate participants referred by providers and develop personalized treatment plans to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate services with other healthcare professionals.
  • Document all participant information, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, according to departmental policy and procedure.
  • Participate in clinical education and training programs to maintain a high standard of healthcare and clinical practice.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Occupational Therapy.
  • One year of experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably working with the geriatric population.
  • Ability to establish rapport with patients and staff, and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • New York State licensure as a Registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Be legally authorized to practice in New York State.
