IT Applications Specialist – Supply Chain Solutions

The primary role of the IT Applications Specialist is to assist in the implementation and maintenance of enterprise technology solutions in a cost-efficient manner by identifying project or program requirements and effectively communicating them to stakeholders, facilitators, and partners.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of additional experience as an IT analyst in supporting supply chain operations is preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle database is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with warehousing concepts and automation technologies is preferred.
  • Experience with enterprise-level shipping and manifesting software is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with functional business users and IT colleagues to gain a comprehensive understanding of business processes and procedures.
  • Implement full-life-cycle methodologies for projects and change management.
  • Utilize technical and analytical skills to assess application system setup, configuration, and customization needs to fulfill business requirements.
  • Conduct setup, installation, configuration, and upgrades for applications in a multi-tier environment.
  • Diagnose and resolve application, database, and network system issues.
  • Gather requirements, design, and implement changes to applications as assigned.
  • Engage with warehouse team members at local fulfillment centers as necessary.
  • Establish formal networks to coordinate efforts among cross-functional teams.
  • Provide on-call application support as needed.
  • Be available for peak season support as required.
