Position Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (Clinic-Based)

Compensation: $68,000-80,000

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement individualized treatment plans for patients under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Continuously evaluate clinical signs and symptoms to assess treatment effectiveness, progress towards goals, and communicate findings with your supervisor.
  • Complete all required documentation, including SOAP notes and progress summaries, using the Company's electronic record system within the designated timeframe.
  • Inform patients and their families about the recovery process and potential challenges.
  • Meet minimum utilization targets and other business objectives as necessary.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in other disciplines within Ensemble Therapy for patients receiving multiple services.
  • Be receptive to feedback from the PT supervisor, Lead PT, and/or Clinical Director to foster your professional growth within the organization.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Experience working with pediatric patients from infancy through adolescence with various diagnoses.
  • Graduation from a Physical Therapist Assistant program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • Current knowledge of treatment methodologies and a commitment to continuous learning about new practices that may benefit our patients.
  • Willingness to conduct Physical Therapy sessions both in-person and via telehealth when clinically appropriate.
  • Strong desire to work with a diverse range of pediatric patients.
  • Ability to adapt and remain flexible in a dynamic work environment.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented, and focused on customer service.

Licensing and Educational Requirements:
  • Must hold a valid California Physical Therapy Assistant License.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit frequently or for extended periods.
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 25 pounds.
  • Engaging in stooping, crouching, reaching, handling, talking, and hearing, with the ability to see near and far, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision.
