Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Memory Care team at Masonicare. As a Lead Memory Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents with memory impairments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and toileting, while promoting independence and dignity.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, including common areas and resident rooms.
  • Document resident care and activities in our electronic medical record system.
  • Collaborate with the Memory Care Resource Coordinator to develop and implement care plans.
  • Provide medication assistance and health maintenance tasks, as directed by licensed nurses.
  • Assist with dining tasks, including meal setup, serving, and cleanup.
  • Respond to emergency situations and participate in disaster drills.
  • Act as a resident advocate and maintain confidentiality.
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Memory Care team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification.
