Job Overview

Entegee, a leading provider of custom automation solutions, is seeking an experienced Product Design Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing tooling and developing processes for plastic profiles, tubes, and secondary fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new tooling and processes for plastic products
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality control staff to ensure high-quality products
  • Coordinate with die development technicians and production managers to meet project deadlines
  • Oversee tool making activities in the machine shop and ensure compliance with company standards
  • Serve as a systems analyst for the machine shop and coordinate with outside vendors
  • Work closely with other engineers and senior management to prioritize shop activities
  • Coordinate procurement needs for the machine shop and support other departments
  • Troubleshoot process difficulties and improve process efficiencies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in plastic manufacturing, preferably with plastic extrusion die design and process development
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and CAD/CAM software
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with different plastic resins and processing
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $57.00 - $60.00 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and a 401K plan.
