Job Title:
RF Test and Development Engineer

Job Overview:
Softworld Inc is seeking a skilled RF Test and Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing testing methods and equipment, as well as troubleshooting and supporting RF and digital hardware.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment to ensure high-quality RF and digital hardware.
2. Troubleshoot and support RF and digital hardware to identify and resolve issues.
3. Collaborate with design engineering to develop and implement hardware improvements and solutions.
4. Support technicians through troubleshooting and training.
5. Monitor product yields and aggressively work to maintain program yield targets.
6. Support program meetings in developing root cause and corrective actions.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related STEM field, plus 2 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree in electrical engineering or related STEM field, plus 0 years of experience.
2. Working knowledge of RF theory and concepts, and digital circuit design.
3. Analytical skills to review requirements, test plans, and test scenarios.
4. Ability to effectively communicate across teams.
5. Self-directed, organized, team-oriented, and previous experience with MS Office tools.
6. Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Advanced degree in Engineering or related STEM discipline.
2. Ability to work with minimal direction and guidance.
3. Experience with FPGA, Lab Windows CVI, C/C++ programming, test stand programming, and proficiency with digital, analog, RF test equipment, RF theory, and high-speed digital.
4. Familiarity with differential digital interfaces like LVDS, PXI/PXIe, and VME bus experience.
5. Hands-on troubleshooting of electrical hardware.
