Key Responsibilities
  • Explain and demonstrate product capabilities to customers, offering personalized solutions to meet their needs.
  • Meet or exceed targets for customer experience, sales, and retention.
  • Assist with the opening and closing of retail store environments, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Participate in workshops, special events, and product demos to stay up-to-date on Cox products and services.
  • Support fellow sales agents to ensure a cohesive and effective sales team.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of Cox products and competitor offerings through regular training classes.
  • May be required to work in other locations within the same geographical area.
What We Offer

Cox Communications is committed to providing a competitive compensation package, including a variable targeted total compensation of $57,172 ($27.49/hr), with high earners reaching an average annual compensation of $73,959 ($35.56/hr). Our comprehensive benefits package includes health care insurance, retirement planning, and paid time off.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or up to 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively sell products and influence customer decisions.
  • Ability to build relationships and adapt to a diverse customer base.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Computer literacy with an aptitude for learning communication products and services.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift 25-50 pounds to manage stock room inventory.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Some college experience with a focus in sales, business, and/or management.
  • One year of experience in a related field, such as sales, retail sales, or service industry.
  • Experience selling wireless/mobile products.
  • Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken.
