We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer, Robotics Automation to join our Amazon Robotics team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge robotics projects, collaborating with a talented group of engineers to develop and deploy innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying software solutions for our robotics systems. This includes working on the front-end and back-end of our motion planning and sensing systems, as well as developing and debugging robotics software.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong background in C++ and experience building robots or other hardware-integrated systems. Additionally, you should have expert-level skills in design patterns, reliability, and scaling, as well as experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred, as is experience with robotic motion control systems and algorithms, as well as robotic operating environments like ROS.
