Role Summary

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be instrumental in attracting new clients and delivering outstanding service to automotive dealerships across the nation. As the initial point of contact for many of our clients, you will effectively communicate the advantages of CarGurus' offerings with enthusiasm and professionalism, employing both outbound and inbound engagement strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct proactive outreach to potential clients through daily outbound cold calls to both independent and franchise dealerships.
  • Assess inbound leads by engaging in meaningful conversations regarding dealers' business goals, strategies, and interest in our leading products.
  • Collaborate with our internal sales team to identify and capitalize on opportunities for new dealership partnerships.
  • Organize and prioritize your workload efficiently to surpass monthly performance targets and drive results.

Qualifications

  • A strong enthusiasm for sales and a desire to cultivate a successful career in this field.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities to juggle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Self-driven, motivated, and committed to both personal and professional development.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate product offerings and engage with clients.
  • Openness to feedback and a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Previous sales experience is advantageous but not mandatory; we welcome driven individuals from diverse professional backgrounds.
  • Experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus.
