Truck Driver

Sounders Transport is seeking a skilled CDL A OTR Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country in our modern fleet of trucks.

• Operate a Tractor-Trailer Truck: Safely drive a heavy or tractor-trailer truck with a capacity of at least 40,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).
• Load and Unload Cargo: Manage cargo loading and unloading using appropriate equipment and methods.
• Document Activity: Maintain accurate records and activity logs.
• Report Issues: Communicate any problems or incidents to dispatch immediately.
• Conduct Inspections: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck.
• Secure Cargo: Skilled in using tarps and straps for securing various types of loads.

• Qualifications: Minimum 3 Years Recent Verifiable CDL A Tractor-Trailer Experience Required *No Exceptions Due to Insurance*
• License: Valid CDL Class A.
• Time Management: Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, ensuring timely deliveries and efficient use of driving hours.
• Communication: Strong communication skills for effective interaction with the team and dispatcher.
• Physical Ability: Capable of handling the physical demands of loading, securing, and transporting cargo.
