About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at the Korean Women's Association. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals in need, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations
Requirements
  • Be 18+ years old
  • Have reliable personal transportation
  • Hold a valid Washington State driver's license and auto insurance
  • Be willing to become certified as a home care worker within a set amount of time
  • Satisfactorily pass a criminal history and reference check
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or a foreign equivalent
  • Experience as a caregiver or in a similar role
  • A compassionate demeanor and excellent communication skills
