Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

MLR is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging exams at a respected Vermont facility. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will operate radiologic equipment, prepare patients for imaging procedures, and ensure the highest quality of images.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a range of diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced radiologic technology.
  • Properly position patients and administer contrast materials when required.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot radiologic equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Follow established protocols to produce high-quality diagnostic images and accurately document patient records.
  • Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and address any questions or concerns.
  • Collaborate with physicians to review and interpret imaging results for accurate diagnoses.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection measures.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with advancements in imaging technology.
  • Uphold ethical and professional standards, ensuring patient confidentiality.
Qualifications:
  • ARRT (R) certification is required; ARRT (CT) certification is preferred.
  • Vermont Radiologic Technologist License required by start date.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Demonstrated experience in diagnostic imaging and patient care.
