We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Patient Care Assistant to join our team at Genesis Healthcare. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our residents.

Job Summary

The Patient Care Assistant works under the direction of Registered Nurses to provide direct and indirect patient and resident care. This includes assisting patients with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, etc.

You will also be responsible for reporting changes in patient and residents' condition, patient/family concerns or complaints to charge nurse and/or supervisor. Additionally, you will participate in the care planning process to ensure that each patient receives the highest level of care possible.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have successfully completed a state-approved certified nursing assistant program. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, and demonstrate a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on location in Barre, VT. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, company-paid life insurance, 401K, and paid time off.
