We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Las Palmas Medical Center El Paso. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
Responsibilities- Assist in the performance of cardiovascular procedures, including coronary angiograms and angioplasties.
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including catheters and imaging devices.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Provide exceptional patient care and education, ensuring patients understand their treatment options and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize departmental efficiency.
- Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCIS) or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular laboratory setting.
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced certification in cardiovascular technology (e.g., RCIS).
- Experience with cardiac catheterization and angioplasty procedures.
- Knowledge of cardiovascular disease management and treatment options.
